Today,
OutcomesAssessment.org announced its support of an exciting new initiative by ProviderLAW
Corporation – The Medical Necessity Project. Says Kim Christensen, DC, Founder
of OutcomesAssessment.org: “This new project is so needed and will
really help a lot of providers. It
basically identifies the ‘missing legal pieces’ when it comes to medical
necessity, pieces that we providers haven’t known. If you want to see what I mean, check out
this sample appeal letter. The letter shows how all of this can so
easily come together and save providers a lot of money.”
So
by way of example, as part of the Medical Necessity Project, ProviderLAW focuses on a protocol which it refers
to as the “Assignment & Lien Protocol.”
Says ProviderLAW President Keith Pendleton, JD, “A well-defined Assignment & Lien Protocol not only greatly helps
to prevent and correct medical necessity denials, it helps to resolve 30+ major collection problems at the same time.” ProviderLAW offers first-time providers
free 15-30 minute consults to discuss these topics further.
